About Me

I am a Worcester County native and an alumni of Stephen Decatur High School. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. I then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Education, Social Studies from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Upon graduation I began teaching at Bennett Middle School in Wicomico County and ended up working in a special STEM program teaching history to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. After six years of commuting, I am overjoyed to return to Decatur and work with some of the amazing teachers who helped make me the person I am today!
